My Basic Motivation in Creating this Project The various motivations incorporated in creating this project were primarily psychological. Ultimately, this was written in the hopes of having time to paint in the future. In order to have time to paint, I must plan for either a comfortable--and, preferably, early--retirement, or a lot of vacation time; this entails making a lot of money in a steady job. In order to acquire a fairly steady job, I must earn a college degree, preferably in a fairly prestigious university. In order to earn a college degree, I must first be accepted into a good college, which requires a certain number of credits--including Psychology. In order to get a good grade in Psychology, I have to do a certain amount of work. Thus, the primary motivation for creating this project was having time to paint in the future.
